Indian Society for Study of Kimilsung-Kimjongilism Formed


   An inaugural meeting of the Indian Society for the Study of the Kimilsung-Kimjongilism was held in Delhi on November 2, 2015.
   Present there were Juche idea researchers fromvarious walks of life such as university professors, engineers, political leaders, architects and social activists.
   Also attending there were the DPRK Ambassador to India and his team of Korean officials.
   At the meeting, a name list of office-bearers of the Society was introduced, which was approved unanimously.
   Prof. Suresh P. Pathak, director of the Board of Directors of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea (ARIJI), expressed his thanks for his being elected as president of the Society. And he said that he would need everybody’s help and cooperation to attain the aims and objectives of this august body and he believed that he would get it without asking.
   In his speech, referring to the aims and objectives of the Society, Prof. Harish Gupta, director general of the ARIJI Board, who was elected as secretary general of the Society, said those members of this Society would put in their best efforts to propagate the ideology far and wide.
   Mr. Mangat Ram Singhal, former minister of the National Capital Territory (NCT) Delhi, who was elected as chief patron of the Society, gave his blessings to the Society and exhorted all the members to work assiduously to spread the message of the ideology with vigor.
   As other office-bearers, elected there were scholar, engineer, serviceperson and others.
   In the end of the meeting, Indian and Korean songs were sung reciprocally, which created a friendlier atmosphere between the two countries.
