Mexico:
An e-mail informing the study and dissemination of the Juche idea in the latter half of the year reached the IIJI from Secretary General Ramon Jimenez Lopez of the Latin American Institute of the Juche Idea (LAIJI), who is also chairman of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism.
It says that the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism held a seminar on the Juche idea with seven workshops at the National Autonomy University of Mexico (UNAM) with younger researchers at the center.
It is added that the LAIJIfs website shall be open very shortly.
In the mail, Prof. Ramon Jimenez Lopez, who had been busy especially after being elected deputy in the last election of the Mexican National Assembly, is expressing his determination to contribute further to the promotion in the study and dissemination of the Juche idea.
Nigeria:
Information about the setting up of a website run by the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea reached the IIJI from Prof. Alhassan Mamman Muhammad at Abuja University, Nigeria, who is also on the Board of Directors of the African Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea.
The website carries on articles in details with photos about several main gatherings held by the said Nigerian National Committee from last year (2008) till this year (2009), along with the African regional seminar held in Kinshasa in last May.
