was held in a grand manner with the attendance of people in various walks of life such as university professors, Diet members, lawyers and workers.
the outset Prof. Harish Gupta made an address on behalf of the sponsorship. Similarly, the Minister of the DPRK Embassy to India made an address as guest.
A presentation entitled “Let Us Study Juche Idea, Apply it to Our Own Countries and Stand in Solidarity with DPRK.” was made by Dr. Ogami Ken-ichi, secretary general of the IIJI. Before entering into his presentation, he extended his sincere tribute to the late Dr. Vishwanath, former director-general of the IIJI Board, saying that world Juche idea researchers had an unchangeable vivid image of Dr. Vishwanath who had played such an important role as being director general to his last moment.
Honor to All Juche Idea Researchers
Saying with great joy that he had something to tell those who had gathered, Secretary General Ogami Ken-ichi conveyed the fact that Chairman Kim Jong Un granted audiences twice to him on September 9, 2018 as the commemorative day of the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK and that Chairman Kim Jong Un with a full smile took a commemorative photograph with him..
Secretary General Ogami stated that the reception was not an honor of him alone, but theirs as well, and that it was an expression that Chairman Kim Jong Un places deep trust in the people of the world who are studying and disseminating the Juche idea and loves infinitely all the people of India and the rest of the world who live in line with the Juche idea for independence.
The Most Important Thing Is
to Cultivate One’s Own Strengthened
Putting an emphasis on “Strengthening One's Own Strength Is Fundamental Way to Solve All Problems,” Secretary General Ogami said that the most important thing to deal with the problems arising in relation to the birth of socialism and the adversity confronted with afterwards is that to pay attention to “Our side” as the driving force for the cause of the struggle prior to the reactionary forces, and cultivate the strength of “Our side,” or that of one’s own self. He further pointed out that if an administration builds socialism with economy-centred, there would be no difference in the way of building socialism from that of shaping a capitalist society, and that if a country relies on the aid of great powers, it would turn to be the market of the latter. Then, he said that it is human resources that are the most important element among all the resources and that if people are educated to be reliable ones with the attitude as masters of the nation and appropriate enough to conduct socialist construction, there would be no need to rely on great powers, and then they would be able to construct a powerful nation that suits their own country.
He said: under the circumstances that the world is now looking for a new goal and a new guideline, only the DPRK shines alone in the world and represents a bright future. Let us imagine the DPRK and the world 30 years from now being led by the great young leader Chairman Kim Jong Un. Let us look forward to a future in which Kimilsung-Kimjongilism is fully realized, all the peoples of the world are the masters of the world, the world becomes independent and peace is guaranteed on a permanent basis. It is now urgently required to study the Juche idea, apply it to our own countries, and work in solidarity with the DPRK.
the seminar was over, a get-together was held as another exchange event in a warm atmosphere to celebrate the success in it.
seminar marked an appropriate one to conclude an epochal year of 2018 when the historic meetings including the inter-Korean summit meetings and the DPRK-US summit meeting were held.
