Kim Il Sung Prize
At the historic milestone of the IIJI 40th founding anniversary, IIJI Director General Prof. Ramon Jimenez Lopez was awarded the International Kim Il Sung Prize.
At the awarding ceremony held on April 7, people gathered to extend their sincere words of congratulations to Prof. Ramon Jimenez Lopez on his receiving of the International Kim Il Sung Prize.
The Ceremony of Awarding the International Kim Il Sung Prize began to the tune of the majestic "Song of General Kim Il Sung."
It was mentioned by the emcee that the International Kim Il Sung Prize is a prestigious and well-known prize as it holds the august name of President Kim Il Sung who founded the Juche idea and performed immortal exploits in accomplishing the cause of human independence and that it is the honor of the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council to award the International Kim Il Sung Prize to Prof. Ramon Jimenez Lopez who has made contribution to the study and dissemination of the Juche idea and the cause of global independence.
Secretary General Mukesh Sharma of both the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council and the International Kim Jong Il Prize Council said: "The mission and duty of the International Kim Il Sung Prize Council is to award the International Kim Il Sung Prize on the occasion of the Day of the Sun, the birthday of President Kim Il Sung, to the prominent figures who made distinguished contribution to the people's freedom and liberation, world independence and peace."
Then, in his congratulatory address Secretary General Mukesh Sharma said: “Prof. Ramon Jimenez Lopez has been associated with Juche activities since 1990 and made great contribution to the study and dissemination of Kimilsung-Kimjongilism. By actively involving himself in organizing seminars in Mexico, he has piled up wonderful exploits as director general of the LAIJI Board. Today, I feel being on cloud nine to present this big prize to Prof. Ramon Jimenez Lopez.”
When Prof. Ramon Jimenez Lopez was conveyed the diploma, medals and trophy of the International Kim Il Sung Prize, those participants at the venue warmly applauded it.
Then, a congratulatory speech was delivered by Vice-President Ju Chang Il of the KASS. He said: “I am proud to say that by the fact that Prof. Ramon Jimenez Lopez was awarded the Prize, the International Kim I1 Sung Prize will be well known to Mexico and the rest of the countries in Latin America.”
It was followed by another congratulatory speech of Secretary General Ogami Ken-ichi. He said;
“I believe that for Director General Ramon Jimenez Lopez to receive the International Kim Il Sung Prize is a product of his hard work and achievements in the study and dissemination of the Juche idea and that in particular, it should be the consideration of H. E. Mr. Kim Jong Un who expects further work of him. His receiving the Prize is not only the honor of Director General Ramon Jimenez Lopez himself but also the common honor and joy of the world people who promote the study and dissemination of the Juche idea.”
